Disciplinary Literary Coordinator

Erin Easley is the Disciplinary Literacy Coach Coordinator with the NWREC2. She was born and raised in Gallup, NM and received a BA from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI in 2004 in Psychology. After returning to New Mexico, she went through the alternative licensure teacher preparation program with Western New Mexico University and spent the next 13 years teaching ELA in Gallup, NM, at a BIE school in St. Stephens, WY and in Albuquerque, NM.  During this time, she also earned her MA in Educational Leadership through Western New Mexico University. In 2018 she moved into administration and spent the next six years as an administrator at eCademy High School in Albuquerque. Erin is married to an artist who is also an art teacher and she has an eleven-year-old son and six-year-old daughter. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids participate in their many activities, biking and hiking in the great outdoors of New Mexico and practicing yoga.
