Lezlie Arnold was born in El Paso, TX and raised in Truth or Consequences, NM. She moved to Silver City, NM in 1989 where she began her college education, earning her BS in Marketing, MBA, and MAT from Western New Mexico University. She currently holds a PreK-12 Level III license and brings over a decade of experience teaching 9th-12th grade English Language Arts, including AP Language & Composition, AP Literature & Composition, and Dual Credit English courses. In addition to her teaching experience, Lezlie spent 10 years as an Admissions Recruiter at Western New Mexico University, where she guided students in achieving their educational goals. Most recently, she has served as an Instructional Specialist, where she worked closely with teachers and school leaders to align curriculum initiatives with district priorities, ensuring culturally and linguistically responsive instruction for all students. Lezlie has been married to her husband, Andy, for 25 years and is a proud mom to their sons, Nick and Aaron. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and creating meaningful memories with her loved ones
