Martha Sanchez currently serves as the Dossier/OPAL coach with REC IX and NWREC 2 in Chama, NM. Sanchez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Bilingual Endorsement from NMHU and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of New Mexico. She has a Level III license in Elementary Education. Sanchez brings 28 years of educational experience to dossier coaching. This includes teaching, administrative work and currently, dossier work. Her administrative experience includes, elementary principal, director of instruction, and federal programs director. She began the important work of dossier advancement during her administrative years when she supervised the requirements of mentoring and dossiers. She thoroughly enjoys working with teachers through the dossier process. Teachers are so appreciative and grateful for the support coaches offer. Sanchez loves spending time with family, particularly her beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors. Her favorite activities are hiking and skiing.
