Our Mission
Our mission is to empower secondary educators to cultivate a strong literacy environment across all content areas. We will use innovative coaching practices and collaborative partnerships to result in improved student achievement and higher graduation rates.
Our Vision
Empower secondary students to achieve personal growth and excellence as readers, writers, speakers, and thinkers.
We are a group of 11 coaches and 1 coordinator serving secondary schools across the state to support literacy development and achievement in collaboration with the Public Education Department. Our work includes individual coaching with teachers, providing professional development to school staff on literacy strategies and implementation, and promoting the overall growth and development of pedagogical practices to enhance student outcomes.
