Gina Cerruto is a Disciplinary literacy Coach with the NWREC2. Prior to becoming a coach, she was a reading interventionist, and a classroom teacher in pre-k, kinder, first and second grades. Cerruto received her teaching degree from Framingham State University in Massachusetts. In addition to working in middle and high schools in Espanola and West Las Vegas, Cerruto is training to become a dyslexic therapist. Prior to her work in education, she worked in Marketing, Advertising and Finance for companies including Benetton and Lipton. Cerruto received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and a graduate degree in business from Boston College. Cerruto lives in Taos with her husband, dog and two cats. She enjoys spending time outdoors and with her two daughters.
